We had a great time on our rental trip. Did a 4 hour excursion. Rental was easy to set up and the staff made some great recommendations of where to go. Took the boat to shell key. Fished off the boat and found some great shells for the kids. Would recommend to do an 8 hour excursion if you have enough time for the full day.

More than professional. We unfortunately didn’t get to go out. The morning of our reservation the weather was questionable especially for the children (3 and under), they were more than willing to work with us to adjust time/day/refund. This was US canceling not them. We’ll definitely use their services when we come back!

Treasure Island Boat Rental is conveniently located on Treasure Island in the middle of the intercostal waterway. There is plenty to see and do by boat. Their boats are clean and well maintained. John was awesome. He had our pontoon boat prepared and ready to go prior to our reservation time. John gave us an informative and friendly inservice prior to our casting off. We will definitely rent from them again⚓️. Oh, and make sure you look for dolphins, we saw seven of them.

Everything went well. The boat worked perfectly and easily. Super chill time in the intercostal. Don't even think about going out into the Gulf, which could be perfect for some sandbar fun near John's Pass.Special s/o to Alayna for making the rental process super chill.

Excellent experience! We were a guest on a friends rental with this company. All I can say is that it was an amazing day on the water. The boat was clean and mechanically sound! Some of us sat in the front and enjoyed the sun while others sat in the rear with the shade. Keeleigh and Christ were wonderful! They gave clear instructions, were extremely friendly and helped make the outing enjoyable. A special thank you to them. Also just a note: I truly enjoyed the fact that the boats they rent are not floating billboards for their company. Thank you for that as well. So Rent a boat, grab your towel and cooler and have a fabulous day on the water with Treasure Island Boat Rentals!

Keeleigh was awesome. This is a great place to rent from. We did a full day had a blast. Weather rolled in and they called and guided us to safe harbor. The whole experience was class A. We are even doing a second cruise in 5 days. Can’t wait. I will only suggest that if you go to shell key you will need a extra anchor. They don’t rent them. So go to Walmart and buy one it’s worth it. We had 12 on first ride we will have 15 on second. Thanks again Andre

We recently reserved and utilized a pontoon rental from Treasure Island Boat Rentals. When I called to reserve, the lady was kind and helpful. When we went to pick the boat up the gentleman was extremely helpful and informative of the boat and the area. He was right there when we returned the boat and asked us all about our day and was very friendly. The boat itself was in great shape, ran well, and was very comfortable. Its a beautiful area to explore.

These guys were awesome! Both of the staff members that were there got us signed in, gave us very detailed and helpful instructions, as well as got us underway faster than any other boat rental company I've worked with in the past. They were super courteous and friendly. And the company pricing was really good. Less expensive than any other place we looked even on a holiday weekend. We will definitely rent from them again!

I rented a pontoon Tuesday and had a great experience! Keeleigh, Hannah, and Tyler were there to help us through the process. They were all super friendly and helpful and answered any and all questions we had. We went out about an hour and half later than the rental which was OK because we were waiting on one person from our party to show up. During they time they chatted with us and remained super friendly, even offered for us to start our trip while we were waiting for our person and come back to pick them up. We went out for a very special occasion, near and dear to us. We were celebrating the life of someone so special to us. So, for them to make this process smooth and friendly added to the extra special time for us. Thank you guys so much for the great experience! I would absolutely rent from ya'll again!

Fantastic experience! Super friendly staff, explained everything very thoroughly and the boat was clean and easy to use. Check out Shell Key, throw an anchor and relax for hours. Totally worthwhile way to experience being on the water at Treasure Island.

We had a wonderful experience renting from Treasure Island boat rentals! It was easy to make a reservation and the check in process was well managed. The boat we were given was in great shape and very clean. There was ample parking and it is an easy to find location. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to serve their customers. In fact, I dropped an earring in the marina and Austin graciously jumped in to retrieve it. When it first he cannot find it, he searched for it while we were gone and was finally able to locate it! His perseverance and customer service was amazing! We will definitely be renting from here again.

Our family of 12 rented a boat from here and enjoyed it very much so! Checking in was easy, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! You have to stay in the bag and cannot go out to the gulf. I would recommend people who have never driven a boat to not rent this without someone with experience though because there were huge boats speeding past us and huge wakes that were scary even for our experienced captain! The anchoring process isn't easy so make sure to read up on that! The boats were extremely nice and almost brand new looking! There was a large cooler and lots of storage under the seats for food! It was a great day on the water!!

I had a great experience with these guys. They are right down the street from my house. They get the paperwork out of the way quickly and and give a quick safety tour and off you go. There's so many of these types of places around, but I could see myself using them. Clean boat, no hidden charges and a good time.

We rented a 24' pontoon on 7-20 for 1/2 day during Red Tide, and had a fantastic experience!! The Bentley boat accommodated our large group of 14, and was extremely well kept especially when comparing to other boats I've rented from other companies. After reading a recent review, I want to express that the employees of this company ARE very professional. Nick and his associate Kayleigh (?) ARE extremely thorough with explaining everything, including where to navigate to have the best experience because of the red tide. In no way did I ever feel that I was given misinformation, and I was completely aware of my responsibilities when I left their dock. Hats off to you guys, thanks for the great experience, and keep up the good work! Definitely recommend!

Very courteous staff and basically new luxury pontoon boats that are very spacious and comfortable (reasons for 5 star). Word for inexperienced boaters or those unfamiliar with this stretch of the ICW... there are no depth finders or GPS units on the vessels so download an app to help with dodging the spoils and staying between the red and green markers.

What a great day on the water! Reserving a boat is the the most simplest thing to do on their web page; we reserved our date and paid for the rental in less than 5 minutes. Prior to our rental day we received a confirmation email with a link with directions to the rental location. Check in at the facility was super-easy; we were greeted by a friendly employee who had us sign the rental contract and provided a boat and waterway orientation. We were provided with a chartlet of the waterways we were allowed to operate which made our boating day really simple. They have coolers available and CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN bathrooms to use before you leave the dock. Our boat was was a Bentley Pontoon boat, this thing was brand new and very nice. Lots of room to spread out and relax, Bluetooth speakers included and a super-quiet motor. We spent the entire day on the ICW and enjoyed seeing dolphin, pelicans and taking in the sights. This place is friendly to tourists as well as locals. I'm a local who does not want to own a boat, but, our family enjoys a good day on the water. This was a hassle free day, we picked up an impeccable boat and dropped it off when we were done. No cleaning, no fueling, no maintenance and no worries. Do yourself a favor; go rent a pontoon boat from Treasure Island Boat Rentals and enjoy Florida, you won't be disappointed.

We booked a 21 foot deck boat a week in advance on out trip to Florida. On our day of the rental the weather was very windy but we thought we would try and go out as it was our only chance to go. We went out but everyone was cold so we came back after 1.5 hours. The owners worked with us and gave us some our our rental cost back which was very nice of them! We really appreciated them working with us. the staff is also very friendly and helpful.

After researching a boat rental for my family while on vacation I was extremely hesitant to even give Treasure Island Boat rental a try after reading the reviews and the response from the owner. While at Johns Pass we stopped in and spoke to the parasailing booth and learned that they’re all owned and part of Treasure Island Boat Rental. Billy was very kind, professional and explained the scenario of the reviews and we regained our confidence. After speaking with Billy we went ahead and stoped by and another very nice lady assisted us, cannot remember her name (blonde hair) reassured us that unexpected cost or even double was not common in fact very irregular to the majority of responsible parties who rent from them. We rented a pontoon for 10 of us. Upon arrival we signed the waivers and another very helpful gentleman went through a detailed orientation and we all left feeling confident . Shell island was a huge hit for our family. No extra fees were incurred and we only ended up using $33 in fuel. All around a very positive experience and since we do vacation here yearly we will definitely be back! As a owner of a company I understand how very important online reviews are so I felt obligated to share our experience for those who were hesitant like me when researching a boat rental. 5 Stars from us!! Thanks for the great time.

We rented a pontoon boat with the family today and had a great time. The staff was very helpful and friendly the whole time. We followed the map, guidelines, and instructions and never had a problem. I believe that people cause their own problems and create their own bad situations. We will rent from them again when we come back and we also recommend renting from them.

We booked our rental easily online. When we arrived, the staff was polite and courteous and spent time going through the map with us. My only advice would be to clearly mark the names of the restaurants on the map. Being new to the area, we weren’t sure what we were looking for. We had a relaxing day at Shell Island and would definitely recommend it when visiting the Treasure Island/St. Pete area.
